Skilled worker visa query

I submitted an application for a Skilled Worker Visa and paid the standard application fee. However, after completing the payment, I realized that my biometric appointment is scheduled for the 27th of March 2025. Since I am expected to start work at my new workplace sooner, I have decided to upgrade to the priority service to secure an earlier biometric appointment.

What steps should I take to make this change? Is it possible to pay the difference between the standard and priority application fees, or would I need to cancel my current application, apply again, and pay the priority fee? Additionally, how would the refund for the standard application fee be processed if I cancel my application?"

You cannot "upgrade" after you have submitted and paid.

You would have to cancel and reapply and pay again. Refunds can take a few weeks.

Why can't you change your biometric appointment to earlier??
