Skills Surcharge Application Delay

Hi All
I need your advice in this matter.

I am an employer and recently issued a COS to a prospective employee (Chef 5434). When I issued the COS in February, I did not get a link to pay the skills surcharge as suggested by application guidance.

The prospective employee to whom I assigned the COS to, submitted his application via priority service on the 5th March. However, couple of days ago he received an email from UKVI saying that the sponsor did not pay the skills charge, there would be a delay therefore they cannot commit to the 5 day priority service response.

Please advise –
How can I pay this skills surcharge (£1500) if I haven’t been provided with a link or email, etc.

It is not for the applicant to pay, inform the sponsor to sort it out.
