Hi everyone,
i am really confused about something and i couldn't find any clear answer to it, could anyone here shed some lights on it ?
My situation is that i am getting married this summer abroad, i am a Dual citizen holder Tunisian/British, my wife to be is a Tunisian national and my marriage will be in Tunisia.
I heard about the certificate of no impediment that is required to complete the marriage in a foreign country, but in this case i am a national of the country i am getting married in, in my case i have two options:
1- marry as a british national and this requires the certificate of no impediment and to take it to the British embassy in Tunisia so they can issue me any equivalent document for an intended marriage.
2- Marry as a Tunisian national and this will cut short so many things and will be much easier for me.
Obviously after the marriage i will be sponsoring my wife to join me here in the UK, so which option do i have to follow to be able to sponsor my wife?
Many thanks
