Spouse Visa and employment

Post by biscuityums » Sun Mar 13, 2016 4:10 pm

Hi I was looking for a bit of advice,

Im a UK national, Me and my fiance are looking to get married, I have been with my current employer for three years now, and easily make over the £18,600 to sponsor my fiance. My question relates to the fact that I have been offered a new job at a different company again making over the required amount.

At the time of applying does it matter that my 6 months payslips record comes from two different companies or do I need to stay with the same company?

Thanks for the help.

Ideally you should have 6 months payslips from the same employer. If not it will be 12 months payslips and 12 months bank statements.

Have you read through Appendix FM guidance and form for the VAF4A application.

https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... endix2.pdf

See specifically the link below point 2(a) of the immigration rules on Appendix FM evidence.

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration ... d-evidence
2. In respect of salaried employment in the UK (except where paragraph 9 applies), all of the following evidence must be provided:

(a) Payslips covering:
(i) a period of 6 months prior to the date of application if the person has been employed by their current employer for at least 6 months (and where paragraph 13(b) of this Appendix does not apply); or
(ii) any period of salaried employment in the period of 12 months prior to the date of application if the person has been employed by their current employer for less than 6 months (or at least 6 months but the person does not rely on paragraph 13(a) of this Appendix), or in the financial year(s) relied upon by a self-employed person.
