Spouse visa supporting documents help

Post by jawad77 » Sun Jul 10, 2022 12:54 pm

Hi all,

I am applying spouse visa for my wife. Need to know if we have some documents left to scan/upload for the application but the biometric appointment date has passed. Can we do anything else to scan or send them documents for the application?
Please advise what are the options for us to get the documents attached to the application for processing?

You cannot upload more documents after the biometric appointment.

What exactly did you want to send?
Char (CR001 not Casa)
In life you cannot press the Backspace button!!
Please DO NOT send me a PM for immigration advice. I reserve the right to ignore the PM and not respond.

There are few documents missed by mistake they were not uploaded.
1. Tenancy agreement
2. No objection letter from Landlord
3. Letter from employer
4. Additional documents for proof of relationship

Can I post it to them?

I don't know how fundamental docs such as Letter from Employer was overlooked. Leave it to MODs and veterans to assist.

If something is missing or deems necessary to UKVI they’ll send you an email and ask for further documents before they make any decision.

Good luck

Incorrect advise. Firstly I believe the UKVI has been disband since 2013. The HO aren't exactly fairy godmothers/fathers that make all your wishes come true.

If this is/was a Leave to Enter application, the HO would make a decision based on the documents that they have with them. If what they have doesn't satisfy them beyond reasonable doubt, the application would fail. You would however be given a right of appeal. At this juncture, you can add all the documents you missed and more (addressing issues raised). It just means that what (visa) should have come out in 3 months might not come out till 6-8 months. Don't forget that documents for LE are submitted through their partners like Teleperformance or VFS depending on country.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!
