Spouse Visa Timeline Confirmation

Hi guys,

I have been doing a lot of reading and I think the below is correct. Is it possible to confirm

My wife entered the UK on 08-DEC-2021 (which means 5 years in the UK is 08-DEC-2026)
Her current Spouse Visa (first) expires on 30-JUN-2024
We are looking to renew her Spouse visa mid July (say 15-JUL-2024) which means it will expire 15-NOV-2026. This is a few weeks LESS than the 5 year requirement for ILR
However, you can apply for ILR 30 days before the end of the visa so would it be possible to apply for ILR on the 14-NOV-2026 (for example) or does the VISA end date need to be up to 08-DEC-2026?

You cannot apply in july if the visa expires in june. You must apply before the current visa expires. Her new visa will be valid from date if approval.

Ilr can be applied 28 days before reaching 5 years, even if the visa is not vaild till 8th dec.

Sorry, thats a complete typo on my part (makes the original question very awkward...)

I meant 15-MAY-2024 (for the renewal)

Apply extension 28days before completing 30months in UK and ILR eligibility is from 28days before completing 5years in UK on spouse visa counted from date of initial entry to UK on spouse visa.
