Supporting Documents for First Adult Passport from Overseas

Hello,

I have just submitted my application for my first adult passport following my naturalisation ceremony.

Due to Covid-19, I have had to be back in Hong Kong for hospital appointments, hence I included my address in Hong Kong as the 'Home Address' on the application form. Prior to submitting I have been on the phone with the Passport Office which they confirm I can do this and finish the process while in Hong Kong.

Based on the list provided, I need to supply the following document listed, however I just have a question regarding item number 3:

1. Original Copy of my Naturalisation Certificate
2. Full Colour Copy of my Hong Kong Passport
3. Document that shows my name, address, and/or residency

- should I submit an address proof for my address in HK, i.e. the home address I included in the online application, OR my UK address?

- if I was to submit a company letter as proof, do I need to include my salary and start date on the job?
4. Hong Kong Identity card

But I am only here for my hospital appointments and due to the travel restrictions right now I've had to leave the UK. Is there any way to let the Office know of my reason for applying in Hong Kong?
