Switching to Tier 2 General Visa while currently on Tier 2 ICT Dependent Visa

Hi team,
I am currently on Tier 2 ICT (main applicant) and have 3 months remaining on my visa. My wife who is Tier 2 ICT Dependant got a role in the UK and the new employer is giving her a Tier 2 General visa.

As we will be switching the immigration category (Wife: T2General and Me: T2G Dependant)

Does any one of us have to

1. still serve the 'cooling off' period?
2. travel to India to process the visa?
3. What about my child who is 7 years old. Can they switch to T2G dependant in the country or outside the country

There is NO cooling off period for ICT to Tier 2 General DEPENDENT.

2. travel to India to process the visa?

ICT main visa holder can apply in the UK once Tier 2 General spouse has returned as long as you still have a valid visa at that point.

3. What about my child who is 7 years old. Can they switch to T2G dependant in the country or outside the country

They can change when you change.
