Switching to spouse visa from PSW

Hi,
I hope everyone is doing well. My partner is currently on the PSW visa which expires on 24/01/2026. We will be getting married in September 2025. How long must we apply for the spouse visa before her PSW visa expires? Would she need to have at least 6 months' validity on her current visa before she applies for the spouse visa?

I've got a couple more questions regarding the application that are as follows;
Will she have to do a TB test if she's already living here and has not stayed outside the UK for more than 3 months in the last two years? She did do the test when she first came to the UK in Sep 2022.
Will she have to do the English test if her Masters degree is from the UK?
