Tier 2 General Dependent visa extension

Dear friend,

I am currently in tier 2 general visa in the UK and want to make an application for extension for my spouse and kids. I have 2 questions.

1. can you please provide me the link for applying for the dependent extension. In the gov.uk site, i see family and another depednent option, hence confused

2. I am exempt from the IHS charges, but when i try to proceed with the application , i understand they ask for IHS reference number, what should i provide as the IHS reference number when i am exempeted from the IHS charges.

I am currently on tier 2 general visa , which is now in shortage occupation category and the employer has given a letter to submit the same.

How to overcome the IHS charges to submit the application

You have to pay ihs. Shortage of occupation doesn’t exempt you from it.

i have checked with a migration advisor and got the answer thanks.

How did you get exception from paying IHS? Please guide me as i am applying under shortage of occupancy for Tier 2 General.

2 key points

1. Get a letter from your employer that you are in shortage heatlh services occupation with the code and attach the same
2. While filing your application, chose the option exempted from IHS charge and follow the process
