Tier 2 General || Dependent Visa

Post by milindbangar79 » Fri Dec 21, 2018 8:11 am

Hi All,

I am currently on Tier 2 ICT Long Term Visa, which is expiring in Feb 2019.

My visa was processed from India.

My wife recently got Tier 2 General Visa sponsorship.

I would be applying for dependent visa .

Query:

If I apply for dependent visa(planning on Jan 2019), do I need to still spend 1 year at home country (cooling off period)?

Kindly let me know, if anyone would have come across this situation.

Thanks & Regards
Milind

As has been stated 100s of times on the forum, the cooling off period DOES NOT apply to ICT visa holders switching to PBS Dependent visa.
