Tier 2 General ILR eligibility

Hi,
My husband is on Tier 2 General Visa, valid from 27-Oct-2014 (arrived in UK 29-Oct-2014) until 07-Oct-2019.
He will be applying for ILR on 3rd Oct 2019 on priority. His sponsor has now decided to send him back to India on 15th Sep,in which case he would resign with 1 month notice period. Will this affect his ILR application? He also has another job offer that starts on 7th Oct 2019 provided his ILR application is successful.
