Tier 2 General Visa -Second Job

Hi All ,
Currently I am in UK with Tier 2 General Visa .

I have been offered an opportunity to work as an independent contractor for 15-20 hours per week in another company for the same occupation that i am currently working on.
Could you please let me whether I can work as an independent contractor /freelancer when I am working in Tier 2 General Visa.

You cannot contract on tier 2. It is a breach of your visa conditions.

You can only do a second job, same as your main SOC/job, outside of your main job working hours, on the second company PAYE payroll.
