Dear Team,
I have scenario to understand the possibilities below,
I am holding Tier 2 ICT visa (Main applicant) and my kid and wife having Tier 2 ICT dependent visa. My wife got Tier 2 General Sponsership and changed her visa from ICT dependent to Tier 2 general main.
But I'm still continuing with same Tier 2 ICT as it was sponserd by company. following are my questions.
1. Shall I hold Tier 2 ICT (main applicant) and apply for Tier 2 General dependent?
2. Shall I work for my company with same Tier 2 ICT and my kid remains with my dependent?
3. If I get Tier 2 General dependent, Shall i continue to work for Tier 2 ICT visa for current employer until ICT time?
4. Me and my kid can switch to Tier 2 dependent in country ?
Please help

Hello,
Currently I am holding tier 2 ICT main applicant, and my wife got Tier 2 Genneral visa. Shall I switch to Tier 2 Dependent (my wife visa)? and then switch to Tier 2 General main applicant if company offers me? Is there any period which i need to wait before I switch to Tier 2 General visa? as I was in tier 2 ICT before ?
Basically my call,
Tier 2 ICT main applicant >> Tier 2 General dependent >> Tier 2 General (main applicant)
Is the above flow possible ? and have to spend time before I switch from 1 to another ?

2. Your choice.
3. If you have a dependent visa it is your choice if you stay with current employer or change jobs.

You have to wait 12 months on tier 2 dependent before you can apply for tier 2 General from home country if you get a sponsor.

thanks for your swift response. just a quick ask.
when you say 12 months to wait as T2 dependent, shall I have both Tier 2 general & and continue to work in T2 ICT (main) for 12 months then switch to T2 main right ? so that I can avoid 12 months ICT cooling off period?

12 months in pbs dependent visa is the 12 months cooling off period!!!
