Tier 2 ICT to Tier 4 - Questions

Hi,

I am currently living and working in the UK on a Tier 2 ICT visa. I want to enroll into a full time course under a Tier 4 Visa. Please can someone help me with the following questions -

1. I have read that Tier 4 visa holders cannot travel to the UK until a month before the start of the course. Does this rule apply to me? If yes, will I need to go back to India and come back again?

2. I have my wife and daughter living with me and I am planning to process Tier 4 dependent visas for them. Will they need to go back to India and come back again?

3. From the time I get the Tier 4 visa and till my course starts, can I continue to work with my current employer? I will be holding a Tier 4 visa during this period.

4. At the end of my course, can I continue to work with my current employer with the Tier 4 visa? I know as per new rules I can stay in the UK for an additional 2 years with the Tier 4 visa. Or will my employer need to sponsor a Tier 2 (General/ICT) visa?

2. No, they can apply within the UK.

3. Unlikely. You are permitted to work in the UK for up to 20 hours per week once your course has started.

4. It is not staying in the UK for an additional 2 years on tier 4. It is a proposed Post Study Work visa, as yet no firm details available on when it will be implemented.
