Tier 2 to ILR

Post by devc23 » Wed May 01, 2019 4:44 pm

Hi, I am about to apply for ILR, I am currently on Tier and will finish my 5 years in this month.
I wanted to ask if I do not use the super priority service do I have to send all my documents by post? and will they keep my passport and current brp at the HO till they grant me the ILR or is it the same and I just have to upload all the documents by scan?
If somebody has recently used the new system could you please let me know.
Thanks

You have to use the new Sopra UKCVAS service. My understanding is that you can't post documents to HO anymore.

Yes, I will be applying through the new system. But I do not want to use the super priority and pay £800 extra. I will use the standard service that takes upto 8 weeks. But for these 8 weeks do they take away my passport and current brp?

You can still use Sopra, just select the cheaper service.

You don't post anything to HO.
