tier 2 visa advice needed

Post by malikz3 » Thu Jan 03, 2019 11:24 am

Hi,

My employer has applied for CoS on 2 Jan 2019. My Tier 2 visa expires on 13 jan 2019, I am bit worried that CoS might arrive a bit late after my visa expires. Can I stay in UK after my visa expires and will I need to submit some kind of application to home office to make them aware of my situation ?

Thank you

You must apply before your visa expires.

A UCoS is quick to get and assign if your employer has enough left and does not follow the RCoS procedure of monthly allocation meeting etc.

I hope you are not working for your new sponsor yet??

Clearly, if you read members experience, a change of employer can be done within the UK.

If you leave to apply from abroad, you are subject to the 12 months cooling off period.

Topics have also been merged.
