Tier2 ICT Cooling Off Period - Can you re-enter UK for leisure trips?

Hello, I am living and working in the UK on a Tier 2 ICT visa. I will be leaving my job shortly to go traveling for one year, with the intention of re-applying for another work visa once my travels are done and my cooling off period complete. I have a wedding in the UK mid-way through my travels (next summer) that I would like to attend. I'm unclear on whether I can not re-enter the UK at all during the cooling off period, or if I can return as long as I don't plan to work. If I can re-enter as a tourist, will my travel to UK for leisure during cooling off period re-start the cooling off period? Thanks for your feedback.

You can enter as a visitor without affecting the cooling off period.
