Ties to Pakistan& UK visa extension help

Post by ilanishom » Tue Apr 29, 2025 2:11 pm

Hi, I am on a 10-year route private life visa and have two more extensions left.
Due to her old age, my mother in Pakistan would like to transfer her property into my name.
I wanted to know how it would affect
my future visa extension applications with regards to ties to birth country. Is it a good or bad thing.?
To be honest, I would only want to travel to Pakistan as long as my mother is still living, after which I would no longer be interested in my birthplace because of the terrible experiences I had as a child there. I've been in the UK for about 25 years, and I don't want to risk losing my future for a piece of land .
I have spoken to many solicitors but haven't received a definite answer yet.
I am currently in Pakistan for my mother's treatment. She wants to transfer property papers on my name asap ,assuming I would keep the family home with the promise not to sell it.
ANY help will be appreciated .

This has nothing to do with immigration. Has no relevance either to your visa route.

Hi there, thanks for the prompt reply.
I have clearly mentioned in my lengthy statement to home office that I have no business or any interest in Pakistan nor do I want any in future.
I absolutely despise that place where I was abused mentally and physically ,the scars haven't left me yet probably I will never be normal again.
