Last week I got my British passport, and today I just received my supporting documents containing my naturalisation certificate.
Instead of ringing the bell and handing it over, TNT decided to bend the envelope and post it through the door! Unfortunately the home office didn't use a "Do not bend" envelope when returning the documents, so this hasn't helped the situation at all.
I have kept the certificate in immaculate condition, and am so very annoyed now that it has a crease in the middle. Can anyone please tell me if the certificate is now classed as damaged/invalid?
Will the home office replace this free of charge, or will I have a chance of getting compensation from TNT?
