Hi Hish007,
Are you applying from outside UK?

Did you try calling them and get the reference number? Dial 00441142074074 and then select option 1 and 2.

Hi Bala,

I think our case is same. Dates are matching.. I have given debit card details.. Lets see.. I had called for at HO but reference number is not yet generated though request for fee deduction is already placed, which I found out from bank..

Are you currently in UK on a WP?

Do you have to go back to India for applying HSMP visa after getting approval? Or one can apply from UK and tranfer WP to HSMP?

Hi Aary,

I sent it to postal address. Please refer to the 11th question on this FAQ section listed on the HO website.

http://www.workingintheuk.gov.uk/workin ... p_faq.html

The address given on this link and guidance notes is different than the one listed in actual application form. I sent it to the one listed in FAQ and guidance notes.
I sent on,
Border and Immigration Agency
PO Box 3975
S1 9BL

Hi HSMP Seek,

One can apply from UK and transfer WP to HSMP.

I got my reference number by email today.

But the email also reads: "Please note that HSMP's current Service Standards aim to make decisions on 50% of applications within 5 weeks and 90% of applications within 14 weeks."

The figures 50%, 90% sounds really strange to me. Has anyone got similar emails please?

Thanks,
bala

Hi Bala,

Great. I also recd the reference number by email today. And my email says as follows:
"For further information on current process times and other general guidance please refer to our website www.workingintheuk.gov.uk"

In 12 months of claimed period I was in UK for 1 and half months for which I have not given any salary proof. For rest of the period I have given all the proofs and my cumulative salary falling in desired band. I think my app will get rejected due to this. HO replied to my this query very late over email.....
Getting UK salary evidences is difficult. It needs lot of internal approvals.. but will try.. I have already started preparing for next re-submission...

Processed through a consultant

Application sent on 29 Nov
Fee Debited 3th Dec.

do not have any information, as the consultant is reluctant in pasasing on further information.

I am bit nervous now, as it has been almost 15 days now, since I sent the documents.

Friends,

Please provide some encouraging words.

Dear HSMP_VK,
Dial 00441142074074 and then select option 1 and 2.
Spell out your name and get reference number.
Use that number for further query.
don't get nervous, as the worst case is you got rejected, and then u can work on the rejection reason, and start preparing appeal/re-apply.

Lots of people in this forum get approval on subsequent application.

Remove you consultant from between.

I applied on 1st week of December and got approval by 7 days!
Applied within UK [from WP to HSMP]

2 years back I applied under old rule - they took 7 months to process and got refusal that time because scored zero on experience!

12 Dec 07 - Posted application from within UK using Special Delivery (posted to PO Box address)
13 Dec 07 - Item has been delivered to the PO Box address (according to Royal Mail)
13 Dec 07 - Visa credit card charged £400 by Home Office (in the morning)
14 Dec 07 - Received my HSMP reference number by email (at 12:30pm)
29 Dec 07 - Application APPROVED (no email notification, letter dated 28 Dec 07, sent by Royal Mail (recorded) and had to be signed for)

A big thanks to everyone who's provided such valuable information on this site, and good luck to everyone who's still applying :)

If anyone needs advice or has any questions please feel free to get in touch. I'll do my best to help.

Thank you HSMP_may be.

I called up the number you gave and got the reference number!

Really great guys.

The consultant whom I work with is reluctant to show any documentation that he has done for my application. But I managed to get a softcopy of the HSMP application form that he sent across to HO. There are 3 places that he/we need to provide communication address to HO. In all the places he has given his contacts information, instead of mine.

My questions are two fold:
1: At this juncture, can I change my communication address/correspondence address/ address mentioned in the personal details?

2: If at all HSMP is approved with the address information that has been provided by the consutant, while applying for EC, can I mention my current address and will there be any problem in it?

Any inputs on this important topic would be really helpful.

Thanks,
Vijay

hello HSMP_vk,
although i think that for both of your questions the answer will be 'yes', i have no documentation to be sure.
I hope that Victoria or Amanda in this forum may help you here.

Good luck and keep your fingers crossed.

We all do :-)
