ILR INTERVIEW AS A COMPANY DIRECTOR ON 18TH APRIL TUESDAY

HI GUYS,
I have my ilr interview , i registered as a self employed in 2010 and then got extension in 2013 as a self employed, but in 2014 i have started my own company and june 2016 i have applied for ILR and after 10 months i have been called for interview. i need help

If you check this forum, you realise that majority of Tier 1 General applicants that have tax discrepancies with respect to their self assessments or made late amendments to their returns are interviewed and often refused ILR. Given that income threshold was an important requirement to get a Tier 1 General visa, anyone who did not declare their income properly could be accused of deception in acquiring such visa, particularly if the declared income turns out to be non-genuine.

Dear Malik,

You would be fine if you follow these steps,

1. Go through your recent application's details
Like your company accounts,earnings, expenses,
Your job, duties, clients name addresses, bank
statements you provided.

2. Remember all figures and data of the nature of
Business you have shown in recent application.

3. Make sure you have solid explanation of tax discrepancies
In previous application (if any).

4. Reasons of changing your self employment to
Director of company.

Hopefully this will satisfy your requirements,

But

I know we are humans after all so if you don't know
Answer of anything or can't remember any data figure
Don't give wrong answer. Cos it may be use against
You in future process.

My interview went really well, It was all about my company,

Here are the Questions,

1. when did you start your company?
2. How do you advertised your business?
3. How do you get your customers.
4. How do you take payments from your customer?
5. What was the Turnover in year 2015 and Profit?
6. Have you got your Website?
7. What is the address of your business?
8. Why are the discrepancies in your Returns from year 2009 to 2016.
9. What is the address and phone number of your contractor.
10. How did you manage your expenses when your income was low?
11. Which internet provider i used at my business?
12. Are you satisfied with your all Returns to Hmrc?

Prepared well for interview.

Was there any self-assessment amendments in your case?

I didnt do any amendment

I have interview on 26 April, so much worried... As i do not see much success rate in people who had been to interview.

if you did amendments in your tax return than there is less chance . but if you didnt do any amendment and your interview goes really well than there is chance to get ILR.
