The OP has stated that his previous visa has already expired. To find a new sponsor, you'll need some time I guess! And the RMLT should be done properly in these cases. If you need to look for another option, I guess you'll have to go for the review.
Normally home office would suspend the license and send a letter to the mployer to justify to restore the licnse.
