Visa + IHS fee calculation

Sorry for the annoying question but I just want to check I have my Tier 2 General Visa Renewal fees straight.

To apply in the country for a Tier 2 General less than 3 years is £704 per person, correct?

The IHS surcharge is £400 per person per year? This is what I'm most uncertain about because I've used the calculator a few times and I've gotten different numbers - the last time it came out a £200 person per year, so I'm not sure what is correct.

So for 3 years and 3 people (two dependents, one sponsor) it would be £5,700?

Visa fee is correct yes.

IHS has increased today to £400 per year per person. So for a 3 year visa, £1200 IHS each.

Thank you for this - I knew something was the matter! I did the calculation last week and it was half the amount! The UK government is really doing all they can to slash immigration numbers with these insane fees

If I were to get a three year renewal visa do I have to pay the entire 3 year health care surcharge up front or can I pay for my first year at the time of the application and top up the remaining years as they occur? If so, how do I go about this?

You have to pay the full 3 years IHS at the time of visa application.
