What is the Current Procedure for FLR(M) extension from UK?

I am looking forward to see the current procedure for the FLR (M) extension within UK.
So once the online form is completed and ready for the payment then what are the next steps? docs submission?
is appointment worth it or DIY?
biomatrics?
appointments in the center or any post office?
documents can be upload from home instead through appointment?

After online submission, you make an appointment at ukcvas. Your documents must be uploaded before your appointment date

You must enroll biomterics at the ukcvas centre. There is no other option at the moment.

There is option to upload documents yourself or take it along to your biometrics appointment and you are assisted for a fee .
You do not send original documents to anywhere.

cool DIY very continent. So apart from biomatric everything is DIY now. how much time we have to upload the docs and do the biomatric once the application is submitted?

i cannot see the available appointments in London so what is the solution to get appointment specially Free one. and in case Free appointments are Gold Mine right now then what is the next cheapest option and how to avail that.

Can I book any appointment comes available and then changed/swap it later? how the charges of the appointment will then be managed? like if i book one appointment for £188 and then late on found one for £70 then will i get the refund?

can i also change the center once one appointment is booked?
