Two BRPs received

Post by nashmash » Tue Apr 30, 2019 5:23 pm

Hi All

Has anyone come across this situation of receiving two BRPs? My wife has recently been granted an extension and has received two BRPs (with different date of issue and different BRP numbers).

Please advise where to contact to report the double BRP. I have tried the online link but there is no form that closely fit the double BRP issue. The only email address I have is admin.review.enquiries@homeoffice.gov.uk, will it be OK to report to them?

Thanks

Beautiful error
You should immediately report on the address shown on letter accompanying BRP cards

Thanks seagul

Indeed its beautiful, some people get two BRPs, while some do not get any... Sorry, no offence to anyone trying to get their visas.

We are travelling this Friday, so a bit concerned should we carry both BRPs. I have already sent an email to the admin review email I found (admin.review.enquiries@homeoffice.gov.uk). I will also send them a letter via post too just so they have evidence I have tried to contact them. Any chance of getting a phone number or a direct email address that I can report to?

Thanks

In my view if possible then don't travel until the matter gets fixed. Except date of issue & number, are both BRPs having the remaining information similar??

Hi Seagul

Yes rest all details remain the same (including the expiry date is also the same in both the BRP). It's not possible to cancel the trip at this stage without a lot of financial loss.

I will post the letter tomorrow and let's see what happens.

Thanks
