Application IHS issue

Post by Hari6006 » Thu Sep 07, 2023 9:29 pm

I have applied to accompany my wife on a skilled worker visa. I completed the online application for the PBS, Start-up, Innovator, or Global Talent – Partner visa.

My wife was granted leave on 23rd May, valid until 26th May. This means I am joining her as a dependent for the duration of her stay. However, my application automatically calculated an IHS fee of £624, which I paid without realizing it was an annual fee. I have now been informed by a friend that the fee is £624 per year, and I'm concerned my application may be rejected. I'm unsure about how to proceed in my situation and where I may have made a mistake, as the IHS fee was calculated automatically.

Useful to state the YEAR or do we need to guess the years?

Please state if you are asking on behalf of someone else. We look at previous topics/posts you make to understand circumstances!!

Did your friend put the full relevant dates of the CoS or the wifes visa in the application?

He will likely receive a link to make the top up payment for the full 3 years period. It will simply cause a delay.

As far as I am aware, you can manually put dates in the IHS portal. Did he do that or just accept what it calculated?
