what is Application reference number?

Hi all

I was asked additional information by Home Office.
They told me in the subject line of my email I must write my application reference number.
Is it GWF number or Unique application number?
because I cannot find " application reference number"

Use either one. Just indicate whether it's GWF or UAN and the CW will be able to link the response to your application.

I wrote in the subject line of email : GWF012345678 and sent, then I received an Automated from HO which said : ( If you have received this auto response, your information will have been received and will be linked with your application and actioned )
