Question about dependent visa

Post by Noshee » Sun Jun 16, 2019 10:03 am

Dear Gurus/Experts,
I need some advice regarding dependent visa so therefore i need some assistance from you .
1.Should he update his marriage status to UKBA before applying spouse visa?
2.Can he apply in Uk for me, if so then where the documents will be submitted.?
3. We had a telephonic nikkah back in May 2018 so my nikkah date is of May 2018. Also I made my new passport and ID card with my husband name within two months. My husband came in Mar, 2019 after he got his visa and we had a proper function.
My question is that which date should I mention in my visa application form.

Thanks

There is no UKBA it is UKVI. He does not need to update anything
2.Can he apply in Uk for me, if so then where the documents will be submitted.?
All of the applications are done online now. You are the applicant so you must apply online yourself. If you are outside the UK, you apply online and submit your documents as instructed by the online system

You must submit a marriage certificate which has a date. So you should give that date

a) How long you gonna stay in Uk?
b) What is the start date of your job and end date of your job?
Zimba or any other gurus kindly advice on these questions.

PBS Dependents do NOT have to meet any English requirement for a visa.
