BTW with a GTV you can change or stop doing your job without telling the Home Office, see https://www.gov.uk/global-talent-researcher-academic

also, from the immigration rules:
GT 7.3. The grant will be subject to all the following conditions:
(a) no access to public funds; and
(b) work (including self-employment and voluntary work) permitted except for employment as a professional sportsperson (including as a sports coach); and
(c) study is permitted, subject to the ATAS condition in Appendix ATAS; and
(d) if Part 10 applies the applicant will be required to register with the police.

Adding to Manci, there is no restriction on how many hours you can work.
1. You can work for multiple company subjects to the Maximum weekly working hours. Please check gov.uk website.
2. Subject to the Maximum weekly working hours.
3. You can do freelance work and yes you must register with HMRC for a self-assessment if you meet the HMRC requirements for that. Please check gov.uk website.
Good luck,
Fred

CR001 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 9:27 pm1. You can apply for ilr at any time once you meet the requirements and must apply before your visa expires.
2. Tier 4 student cannot be added
She needs 5 years on PBS dependent visa to qualify for ILR. Student visa can only be used for ilr based on 10 years long residence.
3. There is NO maintenance funds requirement at all for ilr.

I believe I was unable to put my questions forward in a more clearer manner. Let me rephrase them to make it more clear and appreciate if you (manci/fred or anyone who has similar GTV experience) can shed some light please.
My current GTV visa is valid till 3/2025. However, I will be eligible to apply for ILR after December this year. Therefore, should I MUST apply for ILR as soon as I am eligible, or I can apply at a later time next year for ILR (Because my GTV visa will be valid)?
>>>You can apply Tier2 (or Tier1) + GTV = 3 years or 5 years which one is appropriate. You can apply standard service immediately when you will be eligible. No need to apply priority service for GTV to ILR. I hope your application may be processed within week. The sooner you apply for ILR you will be able get citizenship earlier that give opportunity some visa free travels.
The other question was, the period spent in Tier 4 student 'and' Tier 2 dependent visa add up in the ILR eligibility for GTV main applicant or not?
>> you can use 10 yeras route or PBS andGTV route. GTV needs simple document requirement to apply ILR as it was endorseed already
Last but not the least,
Is there any maintenance fees to be shown for GTV dependent children (if not for spouse) at the time of their ILR?
>> NO
Thanks again![]()

It is the same visa, PBS Dependent. Are they able to extend their current Tier 2 Dependent Visa or they should apply for a switch from T2 Dependent to GTV?
https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... nt-partnerCould you please provide the correct Home Office link to apply?
It makes no difference. If you apply for their extension BEFORE you get ILR, their visa will be valid till the same expiry date as your GTV visa. If you apply to extend their visas AFTER you apply/get ILR, it will be a 3 year extension. Their clock does NOT reset if they extend as a PBS Dependent. It only resets if they switch to FLR(M) spouse visa, which is a completely different visa category and rules.Should I apply for ILR BEFORE they apply for their extension/switch? Or I should wait for them to switch and then apply for my ILR? I believe if I will apply for ILR before the switch then this will reset my dependents clock to ZERO? Kindly confirm?
