1. I have HSMP approval letter with 6 months validity period.
What does 6 months indicate?
apply for EC during this or
enter in UK during this or
get a job during this period.
2. I have opened a new foreign currency account and deposited 2800 + GBP, now for three months should i maintain it as such or show some transactions?
3. or every month i should transfer monthly salary from local currency account to this account? is it required, thanks

Hi Loodk,

HSMP approval letter is just mean that you are eligible to apply for Tier1 Visa from your local post under transitional arangement. so basically apply your visa during this six month time...
2.3. i think its better to do some transaction time by time and its adviceable to transfer your existing salary into same account.

Thanks tonypetty,
I'll transfer each month my salary from local currency account to foreign currency account. However this will be done manually by withdrawing salary first, converting it in open market to GBP and then remitt in foreign currency account.
Foreign currency acc statement of three months will be attached with visa application but what sort of proof i need to show that the pounds each month are coming from my salary account?
Note that bank is not willing to convert salary automatically in GBP and submit in foreign account, i have to do it myself.

Hi Loodk,

As far as i know for applying EC under transitional arrangaement one dont need to show again any proof of income in the any period other than the period you claimed for your earning points in your hsmp application. Anyway as a proof of source of funds you can put your local curency bank statement where salary is coming with you cover letter and explain that local currency statement is for source of funds only purpose and orignal FCA St. is for mentainance proof.

Its taking hell long time now adays i had mine in BHC form last 40 days.
Pray for me for good outcome

hi Hina_France.

You did not update this forum regarding your application. I hope and pray that your entry clearance application has been approved.

I applied for entry clearance under Tier1 (General) transitional arrangements for HSMP approval letter holders on 22-Oct-2008 at LHR VAC. Lets see what happens now and when :?

Nowadays, GORA won't be loitering around given security concerns :D

Why don't u check by abt ur application by contacting embassy directly? 40 days is tooo looooonggg...

asalam o alaikum

I am going to apply for tier 1 on 11th of january 2009. I need to get the lit of forms to be filled and list of documents to be sent. Also, I need a bit of guidance regarding tier 1 process. Is it the same as hsmp where a letter comes first and then u send it for visa? Can any one help me plz? I am from Karachi.

I need to get everything ready before that date. Currently im waiting for 3 months for maintaince funds.

I have a few questions to be answered.

1) Do i need to submit tax returns or just payslips?
2) I need to show that i have done a project free lance. Would the company invoice be enough to show this?>
3) All the docs needed to be submitted in original?
4) I maintain two accounts. 1 for my salary and 1 for my funds. Is it going to be OK?
5) Should i send the bank statement in pak rupees or they must be in GBP? Both accounts I have are of Pak rupees
6) Has any one got tier 1 visa from pakistan yet?

Does BHC accepts performance based BONUS as part of previous earnings?

Friends:

One thing more you told me that BHC accepts the bonus if it was mentioned on the salary slip. Let me explain you my case:

My company had deposited monthly salary of Aug in my bank account on 2nd sept. 2008 while performance based bonus was given to me on 23rd sept, 2008 and deposited on the same day in my bank account. In this case; should my company have to mention this bonus on my salary slip of Aug? Please note that both salary and bounus were deposited in my bank account separately. Please guide.
