Tier 1 G Dependent to ILR (50 days short of 5 yrs)

Post by kimbrulait » Wed Apr 05, 2017 11:23 am

Hello

I came to the UK on a Tier 1 General - afterward I met my husband and brought him here on a Tier 1 spouse visa. When I renewed my ILR he had to renew his Tier 1 (because it was issued with the same expiration date as my second Tier 1 visa). His visa will expire 21 JUL but he won't qualify for ILR until 29 SEPT.

What do we do for him to be here legally between that time?

We have a child who is a British Citizen (and we're planning on leaving in 2 years max - I was originally planning on applying for citizenship before brexit.)

I've helped plenty of people with their Tier 1, Tier 4 and ILR apps...so hoping someone can help me out this time!

Thanks

Extend his Tier 1 G dependent visa, assuming you got ILR based on Tier 1 G and not long residence.

Hi kimbulait

I think you can apply ilr for them and as just delay biometric registration.

It's not possible to delay biometric registration for 2 months. :!: Please desist from posting misleading advice.

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.
