First initial TIER 1 application -- Funds in UK

Post by kapszone » Mon Jan 22, 2018 8:53 am

Hello Members,

need advise on the funding. My nephew living overseas would like to buy a business here in Wales, and apply for the TIER 1 visa. The funds are held here in our accounts in UK, is there a way to use these funds or do we need to show the funds in the applicants account in home country.

Couple of options as I have been reading the Eligibility:
1) made available to you by other people (‘third parties’), such as a spouse, partner or investor -- Could we be the investors here in UK and allow the applicant to use our money ?

2) Could we somehow use this money if we manage to open his account here in UK --by transferring the money to his UK bank account and then transfer to his business account ?

3) Applicant is not into earnings, as he is still studying could that be an issue provided we can show he has inherited his father's money.

Which category of Tier 1 are you asking about?

You have posted in the Tier 1 Investor sub forum (different category to Tier 1 entrepreneur).
