August 2019 Restricted COS - PLS DO NOT POST VISA APP RELATED QUESTIONS HERE!!!

Is any one knows till what date HO will allocate the RCOS?and those who not allocate the cos can they carry forward to the next allocation month?

I am also still waiting. Anyone please tell me if they are still allocating rcos for the month of August? My sponsor was told that my application was approved August 3rd but no cos received so far.

It couldn't have been approved on the 3rd as the allocation meeting only takes place on the 11th. Do you mean they submitted the request on the 3rd??

Hi,
My employer is a new sponsor, they applied for a RCoS on the 31st July. Currently the application states under review.
They have not had any requests for further information.
Any advice?

In July, applications should score atleast 40 pts to be successful. please see below

But is that applicable for the August allocation also ?I have saw people comments got rcos below 40 points in august

It is all so confusing because, someone did indeed post that they received there's with 30-35 points. My occupation is on the shortage list and so I'm not sure why things are taking so long. My sponsor said that they've been no requests for additional documentation or information on my application.

Any idea guys, is it worth keeping hope for this month ? or shall expect now in next cycle (after Sep 11) ?

I guess it looks like we might have to wait for September's allocation.

These are the new calculations.


PART 1 - Type of Job: A

• Shortage occupation: 320 points
• PhD-level occupation code and job passes Residence Labor Market Test (or an exemption applies): 175 points
• Resident labour market test met via the milkround, and the individual being sponsored meets the post-study work requirements(other than they will be applying for entry clearance rather than leave to remain): 30
• The job is in one of the following public service occupations: 30
• Job passes Resident Labor Market Test (or an exemption applies): 20 points

PART 2 - Salary: B
We will award one point for each £1,000 of gross annual salary, up to a maximum of £160,000. We calculate the salary in accordance with the rules in paragraphs 79 to 79C of Appendix A to the Immigration Rules –see ‘Salary information on a certificate of sponsorship’ for further guidance.
