PBS(Tier 2) Dependant Extension

Hi All,

I am on ILR.

My wife and kid(2 applicants) are all in PBS Dependent having visa expiry date as Dec 2019.

I would like to extend their visa in Good time as we have travel plans in Feb 2020.

I would like to know the list of documents required.

Do I need to have any minimum fund maintained for certain months on my account?

I have resigned from my employer and contracting now. Is there any minimum salary requirement for their visa extension?

I have searched the forum, I have found answers from 2017, since the recent changes in the HO process I would like to know the latest list of documents.

Can you please help me with information

Yes, £630 for each dependent held for 90 days.

My wife will be eligible for ILR in 2021 Feb. Can I pay IHS surcharge only for 2 years, given the fact she needs visa only until 2021 Feb?

My Son has born in India last year.
Will my son also able to apply ILR at the same time as my wife applies ILR?

No. A PBS Dependent extension is granted for 3 years if the main PBS visa holder has ILR. You cannot choose a lesser visa validity time as the 3 years is stated in the immigration rules.

Correct yes. He will also obviously need an extension and will pay the same fees as your spouse.

Hi Experts,

I have prepared the documents and fund for my wife's visa extension.

I have doubt regarding co habitation documentation.

my wife went to India between Sep-2018 to May 2019 for Baby delivery, Should I provide any proof during that period?

My wife name is there on some of utility bills and credit card and Bank statements I have with the UK address

Technically she is not here.

Any help is much appreciated.

PS: Her present visa is approved in Dec 2016
