Hi everyone,
I had submitted my T2 Visa application yesterday. There was a question if your Sponsor is a Limited Liability and my employer name is XXX LLP so I assumed mistakenly it is a limited liability status. So I replied yes and checked the option yes it is a limited liability but i do not own any shares. After I submitted my application I came to know today that it is not a Limited Liability. I supposed to answer no it is not a Limited Liability, it is a local Hire. Please advice what should be now my course of action? I have informed my employer but I did not receive a reply yet. Kindly suggest me if I need to withdraw my Visa application or it will not cause rejection to my Visa?
Thanks

Did you check what LLP actually stands for?? It is the way a company is registered in the UK.
limited liability partnership
A limited liability partnership (LLP) is a partnership in which some or all partners (depending on the jurisdiction) have limited liabilities. It therefore can exhibit elements of partnerships and corporations. In an LLP, each partner is not responsible or liable for another partner's misconduct or negligence.

Thank you for prompt reply, yes I realized there is a difference between Limited Company and LLP. So what should be now my course of action, I have informed my employer and waiting for their reply. I am afraid if it is going to affect my Visa application.

Why do you believe ticking YES to LLP is a problem if the sponsor IS in fact an LLP as stated in their name???

Because there is a difference between limited Company and Limited Liability partnership :-/ so that made me worried. Also I am aware sometimes applications are rejected because of silly mistakes.

If your sponsors name is XXX LLP, then they are not a limited company!!

What should be the course of action now can you advise? Can I include this in the cover letter while submitting my passport or I need to update the application itself.

I don't understand what it is you are wanting to correct if your sponsor is an LLP and you ticked YES to LLP
You seem to be confusing yourself.

Probably I am super confused, The Question was "IF MY SPONSOR IS A LIMITED COMPANY" sorry before in original post I mentioned Liability word which created more confusion for you.

If your sponsor is an LLP then they are not a Limited Company.

Yes and that is the mistake which I made in my online application which I have already submitted. I have an appointment on 4th Dec for Biometric. Now what I am seeking is what I have to do to rectify it.

I don't think it is a big issue. Simply write a short covering letter if you feel it is needed.
