Tier 2 general; Supporting documents including photos, passports and old BRP

Post by Thi12345 » Sun Jul 15, 2018 10:33 pm

Hi all,
I submitted tier 2 general (change of employment) using standard service in June. I received all of my supporting documents including 2 photos, passport and old BRP card, after just about 4 days after submitting. There was no letter explaining why these documents were sent back.
Does anyone have the same experience? If so, please let me know the outcome of application. Your help is very much appreciated.

Is there a UK visa vignette inserted in your returned passport?

Change of employment, i.e. application to change sponsors WITHIN the UK so no visa vignette!!
Char (CR001 not Casa)

This may be because your sponsor is a premium one, which means when all your docs are logged into HO's system, they all are returned to you immediately. But you have to wait for a decision as it is still in process.

HTH.

Hi Chiang,
Thank you for your reply. Yes my sponsor is “Premium”. Did you have the same experience? If so, can you please let me know the outcome of your visa application?
Anyway, they should have sent a letter stating that they are returing original and the application is still in process. Now they are just letting people stress out.
But thank you very much.

Hi,
Just to update about my case and to reassure those who would have the same experience as mine in the future, my visa application has now been granted and received BRP card through DX. So, it can be assumed that if your sponsor is "premium", HO might send back all your documents including photos after they had been scanned, although my colleagues whose sponsor is the same as mine did not receive the documents back after only a few days. They said they received all the documents together with a letter of visa approval after about 6 weeks. So, it means it can be varied from case to case.
While it is quite convenient to receive your documents soon, it was quite a stressful time for me as I had no idea of what was going on. HO should have sent a letter stating that they have scanned all the documents and that my application is still in process. Anyway, everything is fine now. Thank you for those who had advised on my case. :D :D :D :D :)
