What happend if company goes bankrupt or redundancy while my tier 2 aplication is not yet approved

Hi,

My tier2 visa expiry date will be 20 July 2020. My tier 2 extension application has already submitted on 15 May. I am waiting for the service point appointment to be available. I am worried and wonder what is the implication to me and my wife (with a dependent visa with the same expiry date) if the company goes bankrupt or redundancy of my role before the submitted application being approved?

Hi Thanks CR001, I have a follow-up question. In the case that if my visa application refused, Do you think that I will have some time to find a job? Considering my current visa is expired by then. Thank you very much

You only have 14 days to make a new application, which will still be out if time and neither of you will be allowed to work.
