hi,

but what should I write on the type of visa rejection and reason? shall i just say i forgot?

Or I should write something there and follow with a cover letter mentioning that I forgot?

I just don't know what to write in the box that says give the type of refusal and reason behind it?

Shall I write unknown? And put a cover letter about the loss of application?

Blunder on Application form

Post by am33ngrg » Mon Aug 21, 2017 6:41 pm

My agent has ticked NO for visa refusal on any country in 10 years. Although I have mentioned that I was refused for canada in 2009 and have no knowledge about the rejection in additional information and also covering letter, I think it's still deception.

what should I do? Can I use pen to correct it? Or the additional info and cover letter should do the trick.

Can you please keep ALL your questions/posts on the same application in a SINGLE topic/thread.

There is no need to keep starting a new topic.

The International Student Services at your UK University should help you with all your queries.

Your agent is actually right about the immigration health surcharge. You have to pay 225 which includes the additional 4 months of visa that you get - again get a confirmation from your University.

"For example, if you are planning on studying a 12 month Masters degree at Exeter then the actual length of your Tier 4 visa is 17 months. Therefore you would be charged £150 for the first 12 months and £75 for the remaining 5 months thus £225 in total."

Above excerpt taken from University of Exeter website - http://www.exeter.ac.uk/internationalst ... surcharge/

Works out as 12 months course + 1 month visa (before course start date) + 4 months additional visa (after course end date) - CONFIRM WITH YOUR UNIVERSITY.

Regarding the application form: Make sure you correct the form and sign against the correction (best to correct it than leaving it with an incorrect answer).

Hope that helps.
