Courses after MPhil

Hi dear experts,

Hope you all are well. Can you please tell me what other courses can be done after MPhil except PhD even something law subjects related to the previous qualifications! Getting admission in PhD is not a problem but it exceeds the 8-year study limit in the Uk. I have one year left in the 8-years limit and 7 months left to become eligible for ILR. My immigration history is very clear and no refusal has been occured in my entire history.
If you could advise me any other course/proper way to get cover those seven months. I was not keen but now everyone is saying you have put that much hard effort now you should get the fruit rather than leaving with nothing.
