Delendent of a student visa

Hi, my husband is currently doing his masters on a student visa in the uk. He will be switching to psw 9 months later. He wants to apply for a dependent visa for me but I am currently doing a 1 year internship in my home country that I am unable to leave.
Is there any way that he can apply for my dependent visa but I join him a year later? Is there a way to secure my visa while I complete my internship in my home country?

You need to be IN the UK on a Student Dependent visa in order to qualify to switch with your spouse at the same time to a Graduate Route dependent visa. You cannot make a Graduate Route visa application outside the UK.
