Hi Mugatiya26,Mahbolla,

Any Luck......This wait is just not ending......I have already lost hopes........
Nothing from my end... It's the 29th working day!.
Could you guys share your expected date of travel? Maybe they are processing, October travellers last, and September ones first.
Mine is the 16th of September, and I saw someone who was scheduled to fly on the 21st of august still waiting for his/her visa. So I don't think they really care about the intended day of travel.
This doesn't make any sense. I don't see why it should take this long. Maybe we have all been assigned to the same ECO who is clearly not very good at his job.

I applied from Bangladesh, we didn't even have the option for priority application. Btw, when does your session start?

True. But taking this long to process standard applications are inexcusable. Their own website claims that all non settlement applications are processed within 6 weeks and most within 3.

Whats scary is I know people who applied 3 weeks after me and got their visas while I am still waiting.

Hi,

But is there any other way out ,Cause the response from email and phone representatives are the same that you need to wait for the decision and the universities tell you that we need to wait cause there is a huge backlog.......

To all senior members and moderators,

Just wanted to know from you guys if this is how it is during July-Sep every year for all student visas?????? Is there a long wait for all students during this part of the year for student visas or if it is a one off case this year 2017.
Your response would be appreciated......

Hi Lavey,

Can you share your timelines please.
Can't you just read through the topic to see what members have already posted?? This topic is becoming repetitive with new joiners asking the same questions. They have all posted when they applied etc in this topic or the other lengthy one, except user 'pavitra' who is a child student visa applicant and will likely have more scrutiny of their application.

Hi. I can only imagine how hard it must be to moderate the forum these days. Sorry about that. You're doing a great job. The thing is, processing has been shifted from regional centres to sheffield this time around resulting in huge delays. I don't think people are intentionally spamming, but are rather desperate as their respective course start days are fast approaching. Please do bare with us. Thanks!

Yes, we understand that, as is every other category of visa applicant who have applied abroad, with spouse visas from abroad being delayed by 6 or 7 months already. You guys are not unique in having delays and moaning about a 30 odd day delay. Try telling a child in the UK that their mum/dad won't be here for at least 6-12 months because a spouse visa is taking that long to process.

The point is, look how many posts a user has made and look through a topic to see what they have previously posted first, instead of just asking for timelines, like the previous new user or the one before that. If each new poster asks the same question, all this topic becomes is 'what is your timline', 'my timeline is' repetitively or the one we hate the most "any updates today"!

This topic and the other two are already very close to being locked and such numerous duplicate questions are not helping it.

sorry if i sounded repetitive and asked for the timelines and i totally understand that there are other visas which are taking way longer than student visas.
we will just update if we receive any updates from the visa office.

Thanks
