Unrestricted CoS

Post by G_angel » Sat Jan 09, 2016 5:50 pm

Hi!
I've finished my PhD last month and am now working in a PhD level job for a month on my tier 4 which expires by the end of January. My employers want me to continue with the job and now we are looking at options. It may be too late for the restricted CoS and we are thinking of the unrestricted route. the question is will we be able to get an unrestricted CoS soon enough and does the job need to be advertised as am continuing on the job?
Please advise! :( Thanks

Read Tier 2 policy guidance
uCoS can be issued in hours, if the sponsor has allocation.

Then it is unlikely you have enough time as the process to apply to be a sponsoring company can take a few weeks. Only once the company has the sponsoring licence can they issue/offer a CoS.
