Hi All,
I applied for ILR (Long residence) in Sep 2016, this was refused in Feb 2018, 322(5) applied. My appeal @FTT was allowed in Sep 2018, HO than applied to appeal, in Dec 2018 UT refused HO application to appeal and maintained the original decision.

I have now rec'd an email asking me to pay IHS of £500 by 1st April or my visa may be refused. i called UKVI and they have informed me that the caseworker may not offer me an ILR but an FLR instead hence they asked for the surcharge.

I have so far not rec'd any correspondence from the caseworker.

Please advise what are my options.

Should i pay the IHS? if so am I compromising on ILR for FLR.
Should i contest it at this stage or is it better to take FLR and contest it later.
what did you get from HomeOffice? I got a similar email like you from HomeOffice to pay top up IHS £500 fee.

ILR has no IHS fees, they are probably offering you leave outside the rules FLR 10 year route

HomeOffice didn't send me any letter even what they issuing me ILR or FLR, they just sent me an email and saying that i have to make top-up payment for IHS. they said that i have paid £500 and now i have to make additional payment £500, but i didn't pay them anything i just paid ILR application fee. if they Grant me FLR do I have to do JR if I don't want to accept their decision?

Which form did you complete online, SET(LR) or FLR(LR)?? What is the fee you paid when you applied exactly?
Char (CR001 not Casa)

I applied FLR on 16th November 2016 then varied that file to SET(LR) i.e. ILR, when I varied to ILR HO refund me application fees for FLR but they didn't refund me IHS maybe that £500 mentioning now and asking for pay top-up payment for IHS £500 bcoz now FLR IHS fees is £1000. so it's confirming according to this HomeOffice game that they will not give me ILR but they will issue me 30 months FLR probably.
