Affidavit of Support for F3 Visa

Priority Date – current



My family based immigration visa petition was filed in October 2005 and the category in F3.

The priority date is now current and NVC has asked us to submit the Affidavit of Support fee and visa fees.



My mother in law (petitioner; U.S citizen) is currently not residing in the U.S due to old age (75 yrs old) and various ailments.

She was unable to survive alone in the U.S after my husband's departure from the U.S in 2005. My husband had to leave the U.S as he was on J-1 visa status.

There was no other immediate family member in the U.S to look after her.



How can she provide an Affidavit of Support with her current situation? We request an exception in her case as she physically cannot travel alone or reside I the U.S.
