Is AVP a senior enough post for E1

Post by captain74 » Tue Jan 16, 2007 3:00 pm

Hi

I am wondering if an Associate Vice President of a company employing 2500+ people would be considered senior enough for the purposes of applying for migration visa as Priority Worker (I think it is E1 category).

The category says certain Executive and Senior Managers of Multinationals transferring to US operations can qualify. I have no idea of the Job Titles/designations and the relative seniority in the US - hence the question. I fulfill all other conditions and have been offered a role as an AVP so am trying to assess if migration visa is possible as opposed to H1B.

Thanks

There isn't much traffic in the "US section" here... You may want to try the forum on the British Expats website.
