Hi CR001,CR001 wrote:If you are absent for more than 180 days in 12 months, you will likely face refusal.
If you are not living and working in the UK, you will not qualify for ILR. Tier 1 G is an employment visa and you would need to provide proof of income for 12/15 months when applying for ILR.
Tier 1 General route is now closed for extensions, so you need to decide what is important to your circumstances.
Even ILR lapses if you do not live in the UK for 2 years or more.
its my daughter...and she has not got any plan at the moment to go for settlement...Casa wrote:It applies to everyone holding an ILR visa. Brief visits won't break the period of absence. This means that in order to retain ILR status your wife would need to prove she is settled in the UK and not simply visiting.
so ILR will be revoked automatically. ?Casa wrote:ILR would be revoked and she would have to apply for a visitor visa.
Yes it will expire automatically without notice. I've already done my best to explain that if your daughter enters for a brief visit before the 2 year cut-off date, she won't reset the clock. i.e she won't gain another 2 year period of absence. She is likely to be refused entry and returned on the next available flight.Babajee85 wrote:so ILR will be revoked automatically. ? Will they let me know its revoked by post? No
So she entered before the two eyars perisod and then she should be fine... Yes
after putting the entry and then she can leaver again for further two years ?? No
Please advise
