There is no need for him to be registered again, if he had acquired Portuguese citizenship before he died and never renounced it.CliffP wrote:Does any one know the timescale of both registering my late father-in-law as a Portuguese citizen and then registering his children?
His children are in a few different countries, do they have to apply individually and in person? How long do they have to surrender their documents for? I have heard that applications from India can take years.
If I could take all their documents could I apply for them all in one embassy?
Also my father-in-law left Goa as a young man and so the only Goan document he had is the birth certificate.
His marraige, death and children's birth certificates are not Goan.
