Tier 1 General Migrant Newborn VISA status for ILR

Post by jackie80 » Fri Jun 04, 2010 11:54 pm

Hello,

Situation
My husband is on Tier 1 general, which will expire in June 2011(I am as a dependant on his Visa, and we will be eligible for ILR in nov 2010).I recently had a baby (may 19).

Questions

1)To apply for baby's LLR as to get it upto june 2011, we need to file PBS dependant and show maintenance funds of 1866(533*2+800),which we do not have at the minute, so have decided to wait for 3 months .Is this ok?is there a timeframe within which we must get her ILR?

2)
Assuming question 1 above is correct and we can wait for that long (3months or more), can we apply for ILR directly in Nov for all the three of us, instead of applying for babys LLR in 3 months time and again applying in nov, all the three of us together for ILR?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
:)
Thanks
Jackie
