Hi All,
My wife (currently living in New Delhi) applied for Tier 1 Dependent (General) visa from New Delhi. Her application was rejected, document in question is the translation of Marriage Certificate (original certificate is in Urdu language), refusal letter from ECO says:
The Appellant has provided a written translation from 'Vision Trans the Arabic Translators'. It is on letterhead paper but does not state anywhere the credentials of the translator to carry out this work from URDU to ENGLISH. The name of the company indicates that this is not the normal line of work and without evidence of the credentials a translation on the letter does not meet the requirements for Tier 1 Dependent
We are going to appeal against the decision and this time i want to get this translation as accurate and perfect as possible. I have two choices here:
1) Get the translation done by someone in Delhi.
2) Get the translation done here in UK and send over to India. This company (http://www.wolfestone.co.uk/wedding_cer ... lation.php) is going to provide me with the translation signed, sealed, and stamp referenced. This company also claims to be accredited by the Association of Translation Companies (Home Office approved) and all translation is independently certified with the new British Standard EN 15038.
Right now option 2 seems to me is the safe and right way to go, unless someone disagrees. If I should go for option 1, does anyone have a template or know any translator in New Delhi who is good enough for the job.
Please any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Javed Alam
